I'll go first.
I just watched TOS: The Doomsday Machine again last night. The 00's remastered version, although I sometimes watch it with the original VFX.
Damn, it still stands up.

Love how the music pre-echoes John Williams' shark theme for JAWS. Last Star Trek I watched; this morning during exercise I put in ENT "The Communicator"; a better episode than I remember, though I wish the resolution were more clever somehow.

I did a whole rewatch of ENT in 2019 and think there's far more good stuff in seasons 2, 3 and 4 of ENT than the show was given credit for at the time. S1 is pretty weak overall, but again, the crew gel so fast that they give you a reason to watch in their own right. Just watched TOS: Amok Time and Mirror Mirror, downstairs on our big TV. For some reason I've never done that with TOS before. It looked amazingly sumptuous - Jerry Finnerman. What a cinematographer.

I digitally projected "Where No Man Has Gone Before" a week or so ago, and it really felt like I was watching a 1960s feature film.

Whatever the last STD ep is. Feel like I need to rewatch SNW to get a positive notion of Trek again.

Star Trek the Motion Picture Directors Edition (Hd remaster).
Because, its THAT awsome. Scifi at its truest. And I still look for more tweaks they've done. Also, its never been this gorgeous.

"Past Prologue" (DS9)
The show already has such a different vibe than TNG.

The Royale (TNG)
Because its early TNG weirdness. Got to love revolving doors in middle of a black void being totally Twilight Zone-ish

In some ways, the final scenes remind me of "2001: A Space Odyssey" (the monolith and the alien hotel room). Last Star Trek I watched: ENT "Dawn" and "Stigma."

Stigma just makes me more ticked at the Vulcans.
I just watched "Contagion" (TNG)- I was tramatized by the Yamato exploding. Looked like the saucer was gonna make it but the Anti matter just ate away the hull exposing the frame. Not sure why that bothered me so much.

I love those TNG S2 episodes like The Royale and Contagion where they're just doing weird SF stories. Where Silence Has Lease is another... Just really strange s#!t!

A decent bottle show, but nothing special.

"Data's Day" TNG. For an average episode a lot of stuff happens. Like you see O'brien and Keiko get married. Romulans up to their treachery, and you find out that Maddox, the guy who wanted to disassemble Data in "A measure of a Man" is now pen pals with him.

It's at least better than "A Night in Sickbay." Anything's better than "A Night In Sickbay." um...not 'Sub Rosa' TNG...or 'Code of Honor' TNG...and don't get me started on 'Threshold' VGR. I just watched 'Ensigns of Command' TNG. Riker:"You seemed to have enjoyed that" Picard: "You're damned right!" Worf: "The Sheliak are hailing" Picard: ignores it and dusts off the ship's dedication plaque. Also, is it me, or do the Sheliak look like and sound like the creature from 'Skin of Evil'?

That was such a great moment.

"The Wounded" (TNG)
I really like this episode. You got Picard making decisions to preserve the peace...that end up biting the federation in the butt later on. But what I like about it is, it shows Miles and Keiko adjusting to married life, gives us background on the Setnik 3 massacre, gives us a little bit more on O'brien's past, and Introduces the Nebula Class Starship (USS Phoenix)

There's some resemblance to both actually. Yarnek always reminded me of a sentient apple fritter doughnut when I was a kid...watching that episode often made me crave one.

Star Trek The Voyage Home, this movie is so awesome. This scene is so funny, isn't? Right? The worst possible crew member out of the 7 to be asking for the "Nuclear Wessels". Fun fact, that woman in the scene was not supposed to respond to him, but she did. Leonard Nimoy liked the response so much, that he tracked her down got her to sign a contract and paid her so that they could keep the take. I just watched "Past Tense pt. 1&2" (DS9) because its very relevant today with cities and states making it actually Illegal to be homeless, and rich greedy landlord jacking up rent to unattainable sums causing more and more people to be homeless.

I actually just watched VOY: Threshold.
Not sure why. Perhaps to remind myself how low the bar has been. There's fun in that. It was execrable as I recalled.
I've been watching a lot of VOY recently... perhaps my least revisited show prior to the Kurtzman era. Much more good than bad in there... perhaps more than I let myself remember. I wonder if I'll feel the same about Disco in years to come?

Star Trek The Voyage Home, this movie is so awesome. This scene is so funny, isn't? I love that scene. It's so broad, but it works. Just rewatched Star Treks II, III, IV, V and VI on UHD... V remains pretty terrible to my mind, but among the others there isn't a dud. I love them all.
