Everybody has their moments here and Jordan more than holds his own, but this seems to be Jonathan Majors' year. He's just outstanding here and an extraordinary screen presence.

Also caught the Jason Statham movie Operation fortune. A perfectly entertaining and capable spy yarn that Aubrey Plaza seems to be having a great time in.

I'll even buy something being expanded if there's really a place to go. John Wick, for instance. One spinoff is filming. Another is implied with the mid-credits of JW4, and a miniseries based around The Continental with a young Winston will air on Peacock in the fall.

Now, these might all fail, but there are other assassins and the whole mystique surrounding The High Table to at least take a stab with.

The Creed-verse REALLY seems like it's groping for a reason to exist. Without Creed, I just don't get it. And the whole thing feels done with III.
