I don't think anyone should be surprised. The first one was awful but it still made money I think. No reason to do anything different and, since this is the end of this take, there is no reason to throw in more money and time to fix it.

Best put it out there and be done with it.

And yeah....Momoa fits the look. And the acting skills aren't a stretch for him. Basically they same Aquaman really.

Agreed. I realize I'm criticizing him but he is a likeable and cool guy(the dude can jam on bass while Les Claypool is drumming) and as long as he doesn't have to stretch for a part(ie; keeping things within his narrow bandwith of skills) then he'll be fine.

He'll be fine as Lobo....provided he doesn't have to carry a whole film.
