In an Archive of American Television interview, he tells the story of getting random royalty cheques from Fox because of the The Simpsons. He didn’t remember writing any music for The Simpsons but it turns out of course that they would regularly quote the fight music from Amok Time during various Bart conflicts. Vale. His music will live on.
