Rachel Maddow "Ultra"

I wouldn't call it controversial or contentious, just simply factual, but this Podcast by Rachel Maddow was really revealing. Maybe many of you are more acquainted than myself with the political history of USA, but still is fascinating to ponder how deep the roots of fascism go. The podcast concentrates on the war years, about 1940 to 1946. Many politicians actively tried to subvert democracy and the Nazi operatives pretty much infiltrated high offices of government. Senators and Representatives like Hamilton Fish, Ernest Lundeen, William Langer where Nazi simpatizers and Hitler apologists. MILLIONS of taxpayer dollars were used to print and send antisemitic and Nazi propaganda to thousands of American family homes. America First Party was very active on the 40's spouting racism and antisemitism. The likes of Steve Bannon, Roger Stone and Steve Miller do not sprout out thin air, hate and fascism have deep roots on American soil. Trump is just basically a pawn.
