But 50% over share price is gonna be hard to pass up. www.yahoo.com/finance/news/paramount-stock-jumps-on-byron-allens-14-billion-buyout-report-143552114.htmlPer the report, Allen plans to sell the Paramount film studio, which has produced top movies from "Top Gun: Maverick" and the "Mission Impossible" franchise to the recent breakout thriller "Smile" and kid-friendly "Paw Patrol." He would also sell real estate and some other intellectual property but retain the TV channels and Paramount+ streaming service. He would plan to run them on a more cost-efficient basis, Bloomberg noted. *** Sounds like the CW 2.0 to me.

At this point I'm just like "someone just buy the damn thing already" - lol.

At this point I'm just like "someone just buy the damn thing already" - lol. Kinda, yeah, but I would hope that Para took the Skydance offer that's apparently floating just because, "They do what we do." I would hate to see Paramount scavenged for parts.

It would sure be fascinating to see the extreme version of CBS vs. Paramount - but this time it would be different studios holding the rights to different Trek series or something. I mean it was somewhat chaotic already with the international streaming stuff where people had to have Netflix and Prime to see all of Trek.
