It's a pretty clear money grab. Star Trek is expensive to produce and they've got almost nothing else to market. They need volume. They need cheap to produce shows that rely on good writing rather than special effects.

I unsubscribed last week. Taking Prodigy out over the other stuff(Lower Decks FFS) was a warning shot for me. The only Star Trek I care about on P+ is SNW now that Prodigy is on Netflix. I'm sure I'll sign back up when a S3 becomes available.....and promptly unsubscribe when it's over.

Crazy move. Well, it just seems crazy from the normal people world. In the neoliberal disconnect continuum, I’m sure someone is making money. The movies can still be watched on P+ in Aus, so VPN, although Nombrecomun probably has the best strategy.

I watch a lot of stuff on the channel. I'm much more into non-fiction then non fiction. I'm currently watching a series about planes. It has a few writer, talking heads and stock footage. I'd bet a whole season cost less then one episode of Star Trek.

In this stage of capitalism we are enduring, it seems that the sense of value have shifted and everything is commodified.

Unchecked capitalism is not a good thing.
