This guy was an idiot.
An absolute, flaming, blithering idiot who should live with a court-appointed conservator because he's clearly not smart enough to handle his own affairs.
And, again, Axanar, trashed Trek fan films for everybody. The only reason "Continues" were allowed to finish was because they actually INVITED Paramount scrutiny, and they were almost finished anyway.

I wonder what would happen if someone wrote detailed fan fiction and put it on-line. A writer took it and submitted it to the studio in his name and the studio bought it and filmed it with minor changes. would the writer have any recourse?

Original writer would sue and win, because OW should be able to prove his work preceded the screenplay.
