For a second I thought you were talking about TIM Burton That could be fun. Imagine Tim directing Stewart, a sort of "A Nightmare Before Beverly"...
I could want it. Matalas should not touch that project, not even with a ten foot Resikan flute. No Borgs, no nostalgia trips. Call good writers. Explore the ethical problems facing the Federation after the debacle of war crimes during the Dominion War and find a way to eliminate those "objects" on Daystrom Lab.
Maybe. But I am not very enthusiastic.

Tim Burton and Star Trek! Yeah, that would be a thing to see. I get the sense that Burton (LeVar) was thinking, "Patrick, I love you but SHUT UP NOW!" Man, I could go for your version of this project. I think anything that didn't wade through the sticky swamp of nostalgia might work as a genuine last hurrah. Makes you appreciate Star Trek VI: TUC all the more, and realise how good it is. And how wonderful All Good Things is. But here's the thing... anyone dissatisfied with Picard S3, or Nemesis before it, is going to hope for a TNG finalé that satisfies them, and, again, it'll inevitably disappoint some. From here, I think it's headcanon only for me. I was actually OK with Picard S1 as an ending and a bookend to Picard himself. Before that, my TNG world ended with First Contact anyway.

To answer the question, no. PIC, especially this last season, practically ruined that crew for me. I feel it's best to move on.
I'll say again, ...All Good Things was a perfect wrap up for TNG. Even more so given the content that followed.

Even more so given the content that followed. I agree. To qualify, I cannot disagree. At this point, the waters of TNG are so badly muddied with attempts to give that crew an agreeable sendoff, and it won't ever be better than that final episode. For years, I lived with only the first two TNG movies on my shelf, because I just didn't have the time or interest for the final two. I think I'll just go back to that.

No more Picard. As Picard himself said at the end of TNG's "The Neutral Zone"; "That would take us in the wrong direction. Our mission is to go forward."
