Got back from Guardians 3, and while it mostly salvages itself in the third act, the first two boil down two hours of CGI baby animal abuse that feels like The Guardians Go to the Isle of Doctor Moreau (with some Eloi in the mix because why not, I guess.)
Like I said the third act tries hard and makes for a good ending to the gang, there's a fair lot of dark and uncomfortable ick getting there.
Don't ever see myself watching it again.

Came back from watching it. Not bad but compared to the relatively lackluster Wakanda Forever and the dismal Ant-Man 3, this feels like a return to form for Marvel.
Spoilers:
-I was happy that they showed us Rocket Racoon's background. It's one of those things hinted at in several movies especially when he doesn't know he's a racoon. -I don't know Adam Warlock but I was surprised he didn't turn out to be the antagonist he seemed to have been set up to be. He's rather comical. I know he's a good guy but I thought there would be more to his arc. -I didn't think much of the High Evolutionary except to think that this 'intense black bad guy' feels redundant or at least too close to Kang.

THE just reminds me of one of those absolute geniuses on one topic, but's an idiot everywhere else. He's never going to solve his problem, because his problem isn't what he thinks it is. He can make the perfect body. Thirty calories a day, can run a hamster wheel for two hours, and have a 300-year lifespan. He can even cut Rocket's head open and take out the secret to creativity. It won't change anything. His problem is free will. If his "perfect life" has free will, they're going to screw it up. And those screw-ups are going to multiply exponentially. His whole plan is doomed.

I forgot to mention it was nice to see Nathan Fillion. He's wonderful. Too bad he didn't get a bigger role as was planned for him.
