Why? I just don't understand reboots. Do your own thing and pay your homages if you want but plundering the past for market gratification is just so unwholesome.

Besides, it doesn't matter how they do it, who they cast, what writers they bring over, they will never EVER reach the level of coolness and hotness, Anderson and Duchovny reached back in the 90's. I loved that show back then, it might not have aged well, but Carter knew how to weaponized paranoia and I was glued to my seat for at least 6 seasons.
