The kids are ok, the werewolf looks great, all the parent's are awful. Sara Michelle Gellar is still awesome.

Buffy was really good in the 90s/aughts but I'm not sure how well it's aged. Haven't really watched it since. They've been butchering it in the HD remaster (visually) so I'm never sure what I'd see if I tried to stream it.

Gellar isn't the focus of Wolf Pack but she's definitely featured in it.

I'm four episodes in and this is definitely a different take on werewolves while still lightly touching on the tropes.

I hear she's also a producer as well.

I have fond memories of Buffy; my wife and I used to have "Buffy nights" when we were dating.

We'd meet every week at either her place or mine (hard to believe there was a time we had different places!) and watch each episode. Good times!

She is. Apparently she was very protective of the younger cast while they were filming this season of the show too which is very cool.

Kind of the opposite of Joss Whedon, from what we know post-MeToo. Horrible to think all of that went down on shows I used to love so much.

Ok, so finally watched all 8 episodes. There is a bunch of 'teen' drama in this but the overall werewolf storyline is pretty good and it definitely doesn't follow all the same tropes but there seem to be rules to these werewolves within the universe at least. It does end on a cliffhanger, which is kind of annoying, but I'm hoping it gets a second season. Very cool.
